The IDE DC Odenigbo Foundation has empowered 33 women from Umudioka with a total of ₦12 million under its 4th edition business grant initiative. Beneficiaries were selected across all villages in Umudioka and received funds to expand existing businesses or start new ones. The women expressed appreciation and offered prayers for the Foundation in recognition of the support.

The 3rd edition of the women's empowerment initiative distributed ₦7,000,000 in business grants — 33 women received ₦200,000 each and 4 returning recipients received ₦100,000 each, selected across all villages in Umudioka.

14 solar-powered streetlights were installed at a cost of ₦1,889,000, improving safety for market traders and residents after dark.
